PRECONSTRUCTION QUESTIONS
What is your typical turnaround for a GMP steel estimate?
For projects with schematic 50% drawings, we deliver line-item structural steel estimates within 5 business days. For full design-build scopes, we provide preliminary budgets within 48 hours.
Are all Stalbau field erectors certified in-house?
Yes. We self-perform 100% of our structural steel erection using full-time ironworkers, certified crane operators, and AWS D1.1 certified welders. We do not broker out our crane picks.
What geographic radius does your fabrication and erection team cover?
We self-perform national and international projects across major industrial hubs, regional corridors, and high-altitude infrastructure zones.
Do you provide value engineering (VE) during the bid phase?
Yes. Our in-house PE/SE engineers and Tekla detailing team evaluate connection geometry, weld volumes, and transportation member lengths to eliminate redundant tonnage and accelerate crane sequencing.
